Listening is regarded as one of important skills in learning language. However, the students still feel frustrated and helpless against listening (Yang, 2005). Pierce (1998) said that listening as in interactive, not passive process that the students needed to reply much effort and practice. The students should involve actively perceiving and constructing from stream of sound. The listeners also need to have sufficient knowledge of the language.
Besides, listening is often applied together with the other skills of speaking, reading and writing. It helps the students to obtain good speaking habits as a result of the spoken English they have got and helps them to improve their pronunciation.

In this research, the writer used websites as a media for learning listening since the use of internet is familiar for the students. The students show positive responses to this idea. It was found that most of the students feel convenient for them to practice listening through websites because they can save their time and study whenever they can. For those who have part time job, they are able to study while working. Sometimes, some students also learn listening in their spare time in library or in their house. They also can repeat the recording when they don’t get what they are listening to.
Unfortunately, there are some problems when they access the materials. Some of the students have problem with internet connection. The internet connection was too slow so that it is hard to open the page. There are some students who complain about computer because not all of them had computer. For some busy students, they feel difficult to manage their time for learning listening.
